Looking for the best tennis racquets available? You've come to the right place!

The process of choosing which tennis racquet to purchase can be a time consuming and frustrating prospect, especially with the seemingly thousands of racquets out there to choose from.  This site discusses the best tennis racquets available based on my own experience, as well as on what the touring pros are currently using.  Just turn on a professional tennis match, and the odds are you'll see one of the two players using one of these racquets!

What To Look For:
There are several things to keep in mind when you are trying to decide which racquet is right for you, such as: power, control, length, weight, stiffness, and grip size (click here to determine your grip size).  To keep things simple, I will only mention two of them below: Power and Control.  The two are not mutually exclusive, but it IS true that a racquet is usually designed to give you one or the other.  Racquets desinged to offer a combination of both Power and Control are often referred to as "'Tweeners".

I have divided the racquets into 3 categories:

1. "Power Racquets": Tennis Racquets that have maximum power potential, but can be tricky to control on touch shots (drop shots, volleys, lobs, etc.).  Usually preferred by player with power baseline games.
2. "'Tweeners": Tennis Racquets that offer good power, but offer better control than Power racquets.  Usually preferred by all-court players.
3. "Control Racquets": Tennis Racquets that provide a great deal of touch and control of the ball, but require a more precise swing to generate power from the back of the court.  Usually preferred by doubles players and singles players who like to attack the net.

Babolat AeroPro

This is my second choice for an excellent power racquet.  It offers a little less power, but a little more spin and accurany than the Pure Drive Team.

'Tweeners (best for all-court players)

Dunlop M-Fil 300

This a great racquet for all-court players, combining good access to power while maintaining good control.

Control Racquets
(for players who like to attack the net)

This is a very popular choice for players who like doubles or love to attack the net.  This series of racquets have the most control of any racquets I've used.

Wilson K Six.One Tour

This is the ultimate control racquet.  With a head size of only 90" this racquet requires a precise swing to generate power, but touch shots are a breeze.
